Postecoglou says Tottenham does not have “advantage” while Guardiola calls the “exceptional” spurs head

Ange Postecoglou admitted that his side of Tottenham did not have a “advantage”, but praised the second half of his players, despite falling to the defeat by 1-0 against Manchester City in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Erling Haaland, who returned from an absence of two games, found the net after 12 minutes in a first half of the dominated city. But both parties were wasted, and in the end, several good possibilities were left in spurs that he begged after the break.

Guardiola also emphasized the lack of quality on his side in front of the goal, but said he was pleased that his team passed the line.

“(I’m very happy for the three points: football (football) is a business,” said the head of the city.

“The second half was open because it did not close the game in the first. We had so much possibilities close and because of the quality we have to turn.

“We knew in the second (half) we were going to suffer, but the boys did. They fought a lot and I really liked it.”

Guardiola was also complementary to the city’s opponents: “This is one of the best depth teams I’ve ever seen. The manager (Postecoglou) is exceptional and they are a fantastic team.”
