Ryan Garcia was working at the gym today with his coach, Eddy Reynoso, showing his speed of hand and his powerful left hook in the reflex bag. Garcia (24-1, 20 kos) is preparing for her struggle yet to be announced against Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero in May.
Garcia seems to weigh in the 160’s and still do not fight. His match against Rolly is supposed to be heavy, so he does not have much weight to lose to reach 147. Ryan’s left hook seems as powerful as always. Rolly (16-2, 13 kos) will have to be much more defensive in this struggle than he showed in his loss in Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz last year on March 30 if he does not want to be stopped.
There have been reports that Garcia vs. Romero will be on May 2 in New York City, but it has not been made official. If this date gets stuck, Ryan will leave a time of 13 months from his last fight against Devin Haney on April 20. Garcia was suspended for a year by the Athletic Commission of New York State to test positive for a Ped.
“The best thing left of the world. Today, Ryan was at his best. Calm and collective, but still dangerous when it comes to boxing. Here he is, hitting the fierce reflex bag all the strength and speed. Let’s go! “Henry Garcia said Instagram.
The fight against Garcia’s tune against Rolly will be preparing for a resale with Devin Haney in October. Turki Alshikh is doing this fight. Haney will be in Ryan’s departure in May with a warm -up struggle.
Ryan is no longer with coach Derrick James. He replaced him with Reynnoso, but it’s unclear why. He had done well with James, but maybe being with Reynoso is better due to the location for the southern California training. In addition, Reynoso trains Canelo Alvarez, and will motivate Ryan to be around the superstar.
