Geoff Ourice has abandoned the CEO (CEO) of the International Cricket Council (ICC) after playing paper for four years. Outrice has quoted his desire to “pursue new challenges” as a reason for his sudden resignation to the higher position.
Outrice joined the International Cricket Council in 2012 as Click Director of Cricket after working as Cricet Australia (CA) cricket operations manager. He was then appointed CEO of the Cricket International Council in November 2021, after a stage of eight months as CEO.
The resignation of the ex -Australian Cricter comes to the start of Jay Shah’s term as chairman of the International Cricket Council. Shah, who was formerly BCCI secretary, took over Greg Barclay on December 1. Jay Shah expressed his thanks to Ourise for his services as CEO.
Shah’s President of the International Cricket Council also greeted the efforts of Ourise to promote the cricket worldwide and wished him successful in his future efforts in an official statement.
Jay Shah said in the publication of the media: “On behalf of the CPI Council, I would like to sincerely thank Geoff for his leadership and commitment during his post as CEO. His efforts have played a key role in l ‘Avoiding the cricket worldwide.
The resignation of Ourise took place after the international management of the Cricket Council, included Alex Marshall (corruption chief), Chris Tetley (Head of Event) and Claire Furlong (Director General of Marketing and Communication) left all the their respective positions recently.
On Tuesday, January 28, the Cricket International Council confirmed that “Geoff Ourise has decided to leave -as the International CEO of the Cricket Council”. The governing body also announced that the Council would soon begin the process of finding the successor of Ottice.
However, they did not confirm if it would go immediately or remain until the next 2025 Champions League trophy.
In the meantime, Geoff Ottice was proud of his term as International CEO of the Cricket Council and thanked the ICC’s community, advice and community of Cricket for 13 years. He said it was the right time to give up and pursue new challenges as he expanded his wishes to the world tip and cricket.
Outrice said in an international media publication of the Cricket Council: “It has been a privilege as CEO of the International Cricket Council, and I am incredibly proud of the results we have achieved, since improving the overall scope of the overall scope Cricket to the Cricket at the Commercial Foundation published for members of the ICC. “
