“Shubman Gill will continue to do well in white ball cricket. He has already marked 200 (in hate) and has a good record,” Manjrekar observed.

“We haven’t seen Yasasvi yet (to ask ourselves about the preference between Shubman Gill and Yasasvi Jaiswal on white ball cricket), though we have seen it in tests. For him, this world is there to capture. If It has the opportunity, I am sure you will have its possibilities, “he added.

The international numbers of Shubman Gill and Yasasvi Jaiswal

While Shubman Gill has an exceptional record in hatred, he still does not have to make his mark in the test format. Gill has faced technical problems in the format of red ball, which has been a cause of concern for him. However, he has the skills and talent to overcome his weaknesses.

The 25-year-old has scored 2328 runs into 47 hatred with an impressive average of 58.20 and a strike rate of more than 100. It is also the Vice-Capitan of India for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and is already considered as successor Rohit Sharma to run the team to hate.

In the meantime, Yasasvi Jaiswal has begun his international career with a punch. Jaiswal has been considered mainly for evidence so far, but it can do it in all formats. The left workshop scored 1798 runs in 19 tests to an average of 52.88 with 4 hundred.

Jaiswal still has to interpret hatred, but has participated in 23 T20IS. Despite his inexperience in the 50 -year format, Jaiswal has been chosen in the Indian Champions Trophic workforce as the third opener behind Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill.

Large expectations of Rohit Sharma and Kohli Virated

While both Gill and Jaiswal are in India’s workforce for the champion trophy, Rohit Sharma and Kohli will probably play a key role in the campaign. Being the captain, Rohit Sharma is expected to bring his attacking match and drive the team from the front.

Both Rohit Sharma and Kohli have been going through a rough patch on the new test cricket. They did not have a significant impact on the border-Gavaskar trophy and also during the Indian house test season.
