“We were talking about batting sensibly. He told me to hit him and avoid rash shots. It was important for me to make a decent contribution, Tilak has been batting well for the last three months. He proved once again that he is capable of winning matches. It was one of the best innings in T20 cricket as it was played under pressure.” concluded the 24-year-old.

India’s thrilling win over England

In a nervous conflict between the two nations, India beat England to win the second T20I and lead the 5-match series 2-0. The English side was invited to bat first by the Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav. The Indian team through a disciplined bowling effort restricted the visitors to 165/9 in 20 overs.
