The Secret Circle has ended, but the stars of the show include Britt Robertson, Thomas Decker a Phoebe Tonkin has remained on our screens.
The CW initially had success in 2009 when it adapted LJ Smith‘s The Vampire Diaries book series. Two years later, the network expanded with Smith’s The Secret Circle. Set in the fictional town of Chance Harbour, Washington, the series focused on Cassie Blake who – after moving to the town following her mother’s murder – found out she was a hereditary witch and became the sixth member of a secret covenant.
Despite becoming The CW’s third highest score performer, The Secret Circle canceled after one season. Fans tried to bring the show back with various campaigns but The Secret Circle not brought back — yet.
Creator Andrew Miller has teased where he is he would have taken the story if given the opportunity.
“A movie, a play, a commercial for crystals, you name it,” Miller said Trib Book in 2012. “(Production company) Alloy (Entertainment) asked me if I had any interest in trying a lower budget version of the show that could be done on Netflix and I gave them an idea that I really loved and which I would have done in a second.”
He continued: “Following (Shelley Hennig)’s Diana after the finale to California, where she was alone and confused and struggling between her good nature and the dark magic she got to kill her father. My dream was to set up her life in California, then come in (Phoebe Tonkin)’s Faye to make a mess.”
The Secret Circle ended in one of many short-lived shows on The CW but the cast have continued to document their reunions over the years. Keep scrolling to see where the cast is The Secret Circle now:
