Are Taylor and Olivia from Southern Charm still Friends? What They’ve Said

Olivia’s flowers it may not be on Southern Charm now, but viewers are still wondering about the status of her friendship with Taylor Ann Green.

Olivia joined the Southern Charm cast during season 8, when he was dating Austen Kroll. Olivia and Taylor, who were dating Rose Shep at the time, they became fast friends. Both relationships later dissolved — and so are things between the women.

Olivia and Taylor’s relationship was broken when Taylor and Austen kissed -and lied about it.

Things got even messier during the season 9 reunion, which aired in January 2024, when Taylor out to Olivia for grabbing with ex Southern Charm a star Thomas Ravenel. Olivia Taylor called the c-word and it seemed they would never reconcile.

Taylor and Olivia did not leave that reunion as friends. In fact, that was Olivia’s last appearance on the show. Olivia she announced Southern Charm departure in July 2024.

Although they may not be on reality TV together anymore, it seems that the line of communication between them has opened up again since then.

Want Olivia to Return and Britain to Reach Out

While Olivia’s departure was confirmed in July 2024, Taylor said she was was “very hopeful” that Olivia would return i Southern Charm for season 10, while chatting with Us Weekly in November 2024 only.

“I think we’re on a good roll and she reached out,” he said. “I allowed that space and time for her to reach out to me if she was ready or wanted or willing, and so she did, and I think we’re good.”

Taylor told us that Olivia was “checking out” on her as they began filming season 10.

“It was very sweet of her to reach out. We had just started filming and she said, ‘Hey, I’ve heard some things. I’m checking in on you, making sure you’re doing okay,’” Taylor recalled. “Of course (I said), ‘It’s so great to hear from you. Obviously, I think about you a lot. I wish you were back this season.”

Haven’t seen each other

Olivia said Us Weekly only in December 2024 that she has not crossed paths with Taylor since she left the show.

“We haven’t been around each other much,” Olivia said. “I think between the time that’s passed and everything that’s happened, we’re both on the same page of, like, if the time comes to rotate back, we will.”

He noted that Taylor was “busy” with her own life at the time.

“I’m sure our paths will cross,” Olivia continued. “Charleston is a very small town, so we’ll see each other eventually.”

Status Check

“I’m really happy for Olivia and where she’s going in life right now,” Taylor said during a January 2025 interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “We’ve actually reconnected, and she reached out to me when we first started filming.”

Taylor added that she wishes fans could “see” her on the show, noting that Olivia is “very kind in and out” of Charleston.
