On Friday, January 24. President Donald Trump He was expected to arrive in Los Angeles to see the devastation caused by recent forest fires, even if new threatening fires erupted in the Los Angeles district and elsewhere in the southern California.
But it’s not just in fires that get out of control. The same political position of the California Democrats, which seem to be more interested in “off” our new president, than to put the interests of Californians in the first place, seeking his help.
Governor Govin News was indignant Against Trump’s misinformation about the causes of fires. As usual, when the left complain of misinformation, they don’t only like true things. News may be uncomfortable that Trump draws attention to incompetence and long -term policy failure that made this catastrophe much more devastating than it needed. But Trump is right at every point.
Fires in California: The required phone numbers for Los Angeles residents and what you can help them
My Political Organization Golden Together has just published a document with practical ideas to help Los Angeles and our state after these fires. But Trump’s visit gives a direct chance to do everything right now.

Why can’t California left politicians understand that Trump’s promise of a new “golden age” for America is also a golden opportunity for Golden Stat? The ability to recover from these fires, restore faster and better, and so that nothing like this happens.
There was a lot of talk about California’s federal assistance and whether she should have “ties”. Ultimately, this will be determined in Congress, and, as California spokesman Kevin told me in a recent interview, given the terrible track record of California’s federal money – such as COVID help funds – vital guarantees around any funds that sent to California.
But perhaps even more important than federal money, there is an experience that Trump can offer. Here are the three things that California Democrats could ask him if they were able to overcome the pitiful score of political points.
We have a builder president. Anyone who throughout life has a professional understanding of how to build things quickly, economically and qualitatively.
California should take advantage of this unique opportunity. Ask Trump tips on how to do work in Los Angeles. The Super Cup, the World Cup and the Olympic Games will take place in Los Angeles in the next few years. We cannot afford to spend time. We need Build, Baby, Build, as well as Drill, Baby, Drill!
Trump is primarily a practical leader. He is not interested in ideology, but the result. He just wants to bring the case to the end. I am sure he will have incredibly useful, specific ideas about how to restore Los Angeles and who can help with it-listen to it!
One of the loudest disputes between News and Trump flared up around the water and the inability of California to provide our cities and farmers with enough water. Trump is absolutely right. The so -called journalists mocked Trump for talking about the “giant crane” that directs water to Southern California, which Gavin News limits to protect the tiny fish. But, doing so, they just find their ignorance.
Most of the water supplies in California are in the north of the state, most of the rivers and reservoirs that feed on the melting snow cover. Most of the population lives in the south, and there are two main routes of water supply: the Delta-Medot Channel, built and managed by the federal government, and the California aqueduct, governed by the state. Each of them has a giant pumping station, near the Sacramento-San Haakin Delta, which regulates the flow of water.

In his first administration, Trump ordered the federal pump station to increase water supply. Incredibly, California avenged, reducing the supply from the state pump station to leave more water in the delta. Why? They admit that it was done to protect salmon and three -cell delta, species that is still extinct in 2020, just reborn Biologists at California University in Davis.
Trump issued a new executive order – to “put people on fish” – to increase the water supply in the federal system. California should welcome this rather than fight as last time.
In both of these problems, the water supply and restoration of Los Angeles-there is a huge obstacle that you impose: the strange, the worst in the country of red tape and bureaucracy in California.

In fact, this prevents you from doing anything in California today: to restore Los Angeles, to build a new water supply infrastructure that we really need, to build new homes needed to resolve the housing crisis. We have the highest cost of housing in America as well as the lowest ownership. Most of all, we pay for the water, for electricity – for everything. And a huge part of the reasons – the growth of bureaucracy in the sacrament, which has been created over the decades of one -party Ultra Democrats.

Their “climatic” extremism was an occasion for braking or blocking any project. Those who manage to go forward face endless, constantly changing environmental rules that push the uncertain state bureaucracy, such as Carb (California Air Resources Council) or the Coast Commission. (These two, by the way, bear the lion’s share of responsibility for the devastation of fires in Los Angeles. It was their rules that blocked vital work on clearing the bushes in the area.)
In addition to environmental extremism, we have excessive work rules on the orders of trade unions funded by California Democrats. Robbling costs for labor and forced use of union work mean that many construction projects are killed because they are simply non -viable. And in addition, taxes, fees, permits and stunning bureaucratic processes – all this creates California the worst business climate in America – 10 consecutive years.

Trump knows how to deal with all this. He instructed Ilona mask to get rid of the federal bureaucracy: now let’s do the same in the state with the worst bureaucracy in America. Yes, it’s time Doge California came!
California desperately need a dose of common sense and competence. President Trump can help this – if only Gavin News and the rest of his California Democrats listen.
