Lola, daughter of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards is Baptized

Charlie Sheen a Denise Richards‘ daughter Lola Sheen opens up about her spiritual journey.

Lola, 19, revealed on Wednesday, January 22, that she was recently baptized after turning to Christ in the middle of a difficult period in her life.

“When I was in my deepest depression, there was a moment when I realized I was hitting rock bottom. I felt so lost and hopeless, and I was doing my best to make it to the next day,” Lola captioned a series of photos of her baptism via Instagram.

“I accepted that my life would be like that forever, and I thought I would never laugh again. Until, I met not only my Savior but my best friend, Jesus,” he continued. “I can’t really explain it other than it’s supernatural, but Jesus met me right where I was, and He became my sun forever. I began to trust my life in Jesus, when He chose me when no one else did, and loved me when I didn’t feel worthy of love. He gave me light, when I could not find my own, and saved me from darkness.”

Lola went on to detail her recent health struggles, including “battling severe anxiety,” and said that turning to religion has helped her find “peace.”

“I find myself laughing again now, in places I had only cried. Jesus fulfilled His promise of making me new, and renewed my mind completely. Jesus is the only reason I am here today and has made my life worth living,” he wrote.

Lola added, “I chose to be baptized at the beginning of this year, because I only got through this year through the power of Jesus, and I am so happy to enter this next year, having publicly declared that Jesus is my Savior I am saved forever through his grace, through Faith.”

“I thank you Jesus for everything, I love you, and I hope you are proud of me,” he finished.

Lola is the youngest of Sheen and Richards’ two daughters. She has an older sister, Sami20.

In December, Richards, 53, shared details about his new reality show including her daughters – Sami, Lola and her adopted daughter Eloise, 13 – and her husband, Aaron Phypers.

“It’s a great insight into our family,” Richards said Us Weekly only about his new show, Denise Richards and the Wild Things. “We finish everything. I’m excited, but I’m also like, ‘Oh my gosh, everyone’s going to see my family.'”

Richards added that fans should not expect the new series to be anything like her Denise Richards: It’s Complicatedwhich ran from 2008 to 2009 and when her children were much younger. Although Eloise wasn’t born yet when the show originally aired, Richards said she was the “easiest one to film” this time around.

“I’m not perfect and they will see that I make mistakes,” Richards continued. “Our family is by no means perfect, but hopefully they can relate to some of the things our family goes through as well.”
