U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday touted Saudi Arabia’s pledge to invest $600 billion in America over the next four years, while suggesting the number should be higher.
“Also in the papers today, Saudi Arabia is investing at least $600 billion in America,” Trump told an audience in Davos via video link, referring to major reports of foreign companies’ investment plans in the country.
“But I will ask the Crown Prince, who is a fantastic guy, to round it up to about 1 trillion. I think they will because we’ve been very good to them,” he said, referring to Saudi Arabia. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
