The Deadpool star took to social media on Wednesday, January 22 to share photos through it her Instagram Story from a field trip at Harvard Business School. During the event, he Shark Tank guest star Matt Higgins talk to the prestigious students of the college.
“If my dad was even remotely alive to see me speak at Harvard Business School, he would have been very impressed,” Reynolds, 48, wrote via the caption, referring to his late father, James Chester Reynolds.
Using his trademark humor, Reynolds quipped, “More because of his sudden vitality. But also, what an opportunity to suspend affection AND see your child speak at Harvard.”
“Thank you so much (Matt Higgins) for the thoughtful conversation and the tee up,” he captioned another photo from his visit to Harvard. “This class has megawatt talent. The questions alone made me wiser.”
The Marvel star’s Harvard speaking event comes amid the ongoing It Ends With Us legal battle which sees Reynolds and Lively, 37, up against Baldoni, 40.
Lively Baldoni sued in a December 2024 lawsuit, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment, creating a “hostile work environment” and causing her “severe emotional distress” while working together. (Baldoni has denied all charges in the lawsuit, obtained by Us Weekly.)

Following the news breaking through The New York Times, Baldoni was among 10 plaintiffs who, days later, launched a $250 million lawsuit against the publication for its coverage of Lively’s accusations. (Spokesman for The New York Times say Us that the outlet intends to “vigorously defend against the lawsuit.”)
Vigorously filed a lawsuit the same day against Baldoni in federal court in New York that mirrored his earlier claims – filed with the California Department of Civil Rights.
Baldoni’s studio filed a new lawsuit on Thursday, January 16 against Lively’s publisher, Reynolds and Lively, Leslie Sloaneis seeking $400 million in damages. The lawsuit includes charges of civil extortion, defamation, false light invasion of privacy and other claims.
Several days later, on Tuesday, January 21, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, discharge behind the scenes film from the It Ends With Us set in an attempt to disprove Lively’s side of the story.
In response, Lively and Reynolds file a letter in court on the same day, requesting a protective order to prevent Baldoni’s lawyer from engaging in “inappropriate conduct” such as an alleged “harassing and retaliatory media campaign” against the couple.
