On January 22, Prince Harry reach a settlement with Rupert Murdoch‘s News Group Newspapers before their trial began.
The settlement included an eight-figure payout and a public apology admitting legal wrongdoing between 1996 and 2011.
In the apology, NGN admitted to “phone hacking, surveillance and misuse of private information by journalists and private investigators.”
The apology also acknowledged further breaches of privacy against Prince Harry and his late mother, Princess Diana.

Now, Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, have share statement himself on Instagram following the settlement.
“It takes a great deal of courage to take on big media organizations like this, and incredible tenacity to win against them,” Charles wrote alongside a photo of a BBC headline noting the “significant compensation” Harry will receive. is paid.
