Travis Kelce’s Ex-Girlfriend Kayla Nicole Praises His Athleticism

Although their romance ended more than two years ago, Travis Kelce‘ an ex-boyfriend Kayla Nicole remains a fan of his work.

Nicole, 33, who was in an on-and-off relationship with Kelce, 35, for five years, shared praise for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end during the Tuesday, Jan. 21, episode of the “I’m Athlete Daily” podcast, hosted by Nicole and former NFL players Brandon Marshall a Josh Bellamy.

Discuss the upcoming Kansas City AFC Championship matchup, to be played on Sunday, January 26, against the Buffalo Bills, Nicole raved about the Chiefs offense: “They have guys that they can throw the ball to that are not going to drop the ball in the end zone ,” Nicole said before specifically discussing her ex. “Travis Kelce – that’s a tight end that’s not going to (drop the ball).”

Kelce, who has been dating Taylor Swift since the summer of 2023, he has been involved with the sports reporter and Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test season 3 star from 2017 to 2022.

During the time, Nicole befriended Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomeswhich was the subject of further conversation on Nicole’s podcast. Nicole labeled the quarterback a “seasoned vet” in the NFL and said he “studied the game like nobody else.”

Nicole’s insight led her co-hosts to cheekily ask how she knew so much about the Chiefs game, and Nicole said, “I know someone on the inside.”

As the Chiefs and Bills battle for a place in the future Super Bowlto be held on Sunday, February 9, Nicole added that the Chiefs remain a team to be reckoned with. “They have the threats, so, as much as I would love to see someone else in the Super Bowl, just to see something new, it’s not going to happen,” he said.

Nicole’s recent appearance on Special Forceswhich premiered on January 7, may provide further insight into her previous relationship with Kelce. During episode two, Nicole informed costars Alana Blanchard a Kyla Pratt that she is an ex-girlfriend of the athlete. Nicole added during the conversation, “It comes with Taylor Swift … I get a lot of if— online because it’s with a very big star.”

Being reduced to a headline – to something as small as someone’s ex-boyfriend – I feel like if I were to complete this, it would be (sic) a huge impact for myself.”
