Love Is Blind Ashley and Tyler Season 7 Relationship Timeline

Ashley Adionser a Tyler Francis had a roller-coaster ride during and after their time on Love is Blind.

Ashley and Tyler related view not seen during Love is Blind season 7, which was filmed in Washington DC in October 2023 and premiered on Netflix a year later. Tyler proposed without seeing Ashley’s face, and they were married within two months of the experiment.

“She made me feel safe. A lot of men are looking for security and at that time when I first met her, she made me feel very safe,” Tyler just say Us Weekly in October 2024. “It was like a warm soul coming through the wall, and I knew it was my person.”

Pod Love Story

While Tyler entered the Love is Blind cysts without expectationshe couldn’t deny an instant attraction towards Ashley.

“I like it when you say my name,” she gushed in the first episode. “Your voice is very attractive.”

The pair quickly bonded over horse riding, a desire to check “skydiving” off their respective bucket lists and the importance of family and religion.

“I love that you’re consistent,” Ashley told the nuclear safety officer. “You immediately felt genuine. You didn’t show up like anybody else, you just showed up, like, ‘Hey, I’m sorry, I’m f—ing nervous. This is who I am.”

She said Yes!

After Ashley surprised Tyler with an epic balloon display for his birthday, he proposed in the pods.

“You are the most beautiful person inside I have ever met. You make me happy like a little kid,” Tyler told Ashley through the wall while on one knee. “I tote your blanket around (the living quarters). This is the happiest time of my life. You have made me feel safe like I have never felt before in my life. You are such a graceful person, who deserves love too. God fearing, I can’t wait to pray with you. I can’t wait to hold your hand (and) I can’t wait to look at you.”

After declaring his love, Tyler asked if Ashley would become his wife.

“I would be honored to marry you, Tyler,” replied the marketing director. “This is f—ing crazy… but so good at the same time.”

Tyler and Ashley first met in the reveal tunnel, where she received her diamond engagement ring – the pair couldn’t stop hugging.

Real Life Awaits

The duo built on their emotional connection while also exploring a physical one when they traded the pods for a tropical getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

“I’m glad I got to meet you at this time in your life,” Tyler said during a pasta-making day. “God’s plan. Great time to meet me. Whew, you would have hated me, like, ‘You’re cute, wanna go on a date?’ Get ready, there will be people like, ‘It’s not that nice.’ I wasn’t nice to you all. You didn’t give me a reason to be nice.”

Bombshell Revelation

Their relationship was tested, however, when Tyler suddenly dropped a big revelation – he had fathered multiple children. According to the military veteran, he donated sperm to a friend who could not have biological children.

Ashley felt betrayed that Tyler didn’t tell her the truth until that point.

“You’ve been running around here talking about how we’re getting married, but you’ve also been running around saying how you want to have kids now. And it’s like, ‘Whoa,'” Ashley said. “How did you, like, even talk about any of that? I can’t wrap my mind around it without even considering your past at all?”

He added, “That’s, like, what? Three extra children? That’s wild. Like, who are these people? I feel like I should know that. But I have nothing. You have shown me nothing. Like, ‘These are the documents that show I’m not involved.’ I need to know, like, everything.”

Tyler also didn’t ask Ashley for “forgiveness,” but rather a chance to move on.

They Do!

Despite the flaw, Ashley wasn’t willing to walk away from their relationship and said “I do” on their wedding day. Her shoes even teased the decision, featuring “I” and “Do” on each sole. Tyler also said yes to the altar.

“I’m so excited. I feel like all the nerves I was feeling now are gone,” said Ashley in a post-ceremony confession. “I can’t stop smiling; my cheeks hurt.”

The season 7 reunion aired on October 30, 2024, revealed that the pair were still married. “It’s a death match for us,” Tyler said of the duo’s romance.

After the reunion aired, Tyler wrote a thoughtful letter to his bride.

“From the moment I heard your voice, I knew there was something special about you. We took a leap of faith together, and every day since has shown me how lucky I am to have you in my life,” she wrote via Instagram. “You bring so much joy, love, and laughter to my world, and I am continually amazed by your strength, kindness, and the warmth you share with everyone around you.”

Tyler added, “Looking back, it’s crazy to think we started our story without ever seeing each other’s faces—just words, feelings, and faith. Still, that experience taught me what really matters, your heart, your wisdom, and the way you make me feel fully seen and loved. I am so grateful for the journey that brought us here. Thank you for choosing me, every day, just as I choose you. Here’s to many more adventures, laughs, and quiet moments together.”

Ashley reshared Tyler’s note to her Instagram Story before writing her own tribute.

“I just remember my wedding day as the best day! Not in a corny way,” Ashley he wrote. “So, it was a balmy 68 degrees, the sun was shining on us, the decor was stunning and everything ran smoothly. There wasn’t a person who didn’t come up to us and say, ‘Man I didn’t know if this was real or for TV but this is one of the best weddings I’ve ever been to, I feel the love! ‘ I think even now some people think this was for play. No, dear, these are our real lives, our real human hearts, our real marriage!”

January 2025

Ashley announced that she and Tyler call it quits after a year of marriage.

“After much reflection, I want to share that Tyler and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” she said in a statement to People. “Although I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.”

The reality star added that while the decision to split wasn’t easy, it was “necessary.”

“While this chapter ends, I will always cherish the time and love we shared,” Ashley continued. “I kindly ask for privacy during this very personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
