Winning the toss and electing to bat first, India posted a total of 197 runs for 4 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. The innings was anchored by an explosive opening performance Yogendra Bhadoriawho scored a spectacular 73 runs off just 40 balls, with four boundaries and five sixes at an impressive strike rate of 182.50. Bhadoria’s aggressive batting set the tone for India, effectively dismantling the English bowling attack and laying a solid foundation for a formidable total. The middle order contributed significantly, ensuring that India maintained the momentum throughout their innings with quick marching between the wickets and solid partnerships.
