Now it’s easier to invite Count Orlok (Bill Skarsgård) into your room with the release of Nosferatu on digital. by Robert Eggers reimagining of the classic silent vampire film quickly swept through the Gothic spherethat has he enthusiastically embraced the erotic mustache about this historically accurate iteration of Mr. Transylvania — and his search for the body of Ellen Hutter (Lily-Rose Depp).
Those who wanted more of the night it came will be pleased to discover that the digital release of the film (out today) features an extended cut. Thomas Hutter (Nicholas Hoult) in Nosferatu’s castle experiencing Orlok’s hypnotic delirium is an all-time movie highlight, and we’ll take any additional thick fog ambiance we can get. It better be more splendidly cinematic gross desire and thirst for more glances at Orlok’s glorious decaying face and that irresistible facial hair. Or as Von France (Willem Dafoe) would say, we’d love to see things that make “Isaac Newton return to his mother’s womb!”
