Stargate SG-1 has maintained a dedicated following since the series went to air, and it’s always a pleasure to see the cast reunite in different shows and films. That was the case with Amanda Tapping’s SyFy series, Sanctuaryabout “Abnormals,” beings who have been part of human lore, legends, and mythology but need to be protected from the world, when Michael Shanks, her longtime SG-1 co-star, appeared in Season 2. The two shared the screen again, making sure to include a few nods to their time together, and in the DVD commentary, Tapping delightfully never stops praising her old friend.
