Fury’s weight is 21 pounds heavier than the 262 he reached in his previous bout against Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) seven months earlier on May 18. After weighing in today, Fury threw a few punches and it looked powerful for him.

Fury rolls up for the rematch
We don’t know if the added weight will help Fury on Saturday night or hinder him against the lighter, faster and more athletic Usyk. We saw how the heavyweight of the 1920s Primo Carrera he was unable to use his massive 280+ pound size when fighting smaller fighters.
Could this be the same situation for Fury on Saturday night? Bigger isn’t better when you’re fighting talents like Usyk, and it could mean Fury will make a louder noise when he hits the canvas.
“There will be no surprises. Usyk will be brilliant. He’s brilliant every time,” said Eddie Hearn DAZN Boxing following Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk who weigh in today for their rematch.
“I think a lot of it depends on what Tyson Fury brings to the fight. Last time, it was a close fight. People talk like it was a whitewash last time. It was a very competitive fight. Tyson will have to do something extraordinary tomorrow night.
“He’s capable of it. We’ve seen it in the past. Can he produce it tomorrow night? We’ll see. I’d love to see him do it. It’s great for boxing. The first fight was one of best heavyweight fights I’ve ever seen. I’m very happy to see the rematch, but it’s very difficult to choose against the greatness of Oleksandr Usyk at the same time,” Hearn said.
