British singer-songwriter Joss Stone and her husband, Cody DaLuzin expecting their fourth baby just a month after adopting a son.
“Honestly. Shocked was an understatement 😂,” Stone, 37, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, December 19, sharing a video of herself looking at a positive pregnancy test. “Nothing and no one can take our joy now. We are so proud!!!!”
He added, “Perhaps we should call the ‘Less is More Tour’ a preggo tour 😆 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Stone announced it Less Is More: An Evening With Joss Stone tour earlier this month and is expected to perform eight concerts in the US in February 2025.
Stone and DaLuz, 34, are already parents to three: Violet, 3, Shackleton, 2, and newborn Bear. The married duo formally adopted Bear in November, later saying Hello! that the process took almost 18 months.
“He’s the best Christmas present ever,” Stone told the magazine in an interview published Monday, December 16. “What’s crazy is that we brought him home the night before Thanksgiving. So we woke up in the morning with our son – and that’s something to be thankful for. “
The couple, who married in 2023, were interested in adoption because of DaLuz’s family history.
“The reason Cody even exists is because his bio-mom loved him enough to make an adoption plan for him and the same goes for Bear,” Stone wrote via Instagram on December 2. “Honestly, bio-moms don’t get the gratitude they deserve. It is a more selfless love than I knew existed. Indeed. We are so happy to be part of this beautiful circle.”
Bear was born 11 weeks early and his older brothers and sisters they were delighted to meet him quickly.
“Violet knows Bear is a boy but she still calls him ‘she'” says Stone Hello. “It’s almost like she wants to put a little bow on his head. It’s such a lovely space for him to be in and I hope he feels that love.”
Stone and DaLuz feel the same. Grammy winner recently reported Us Weekly how parenthood had strengthened their marriage.
“It’s funny because we never had a big relationship before we had kids,” she said only in May. “So, all our time has been having children. We get to know each other at the same time as doing a very difficult job. Parenting is definitely, you know, (is) like not having sleep and all that stuff. So it’s really crazy. And we wanted to be married, but we wanted to be married before we had children, but that didn’t happen.”
