Yes Matty Healy set to address his relationship with Taylor Swift in his new music?
On Sunday, January 19, the 1975 singer shared a cryptic response to a recent report in The Sun newspaper that he will sing about the short-lived romance on the band’s next album.
According to the UK outlet, Healy recorded a song with lyrics, “Keep your head up, princess, your tiara is falling,” which, according to the paper, citing a source, appears to be about Swift, 35. (Us WeeklyThe has not been able to check The Sunreport independently.)
“Huge if true,” Healy, who is also 35, commented on a job at the 1975 Reddit group using his verified account, which he often uses to interact with fans.
While Healy’s comment is neither a confirmation nor a denial, fans of the 1975 subreddit noted that the alleged words recited by The Sun align with an Instagram caption Healy shared back in February 2021. “Keep your head up princess, your tiara is falling 💫🌸👑,” she said he wrote alongside pictures of himself wearing a balaclava in a recording studio.
Swift and Healy were first linked romantically in 2014. They briefly dated in 2023 after the “Fortnight” the singer broke up with the British actor Joe Alwyn in April of that year.
