Kim Kardashian has been honest throughout the years about dipping her toes back into the dating pool after a divorce.

Initially, Kardashian tied the knot with the producer Damon Thomasto whom she was married for three years until the pair called it quits in 2003. Almost a decade later, Kardashian got engaged to Chris Humphries in 2011 and exchanged vows later that year. Kardashian and Humphries share after 72 days of marriage, finalizing their divorce in April 2013.

Kardashian moved on with Kanye Westwith whom he welcomed daughter North in 2013. The pair said “I do” in 2014 and added son Saint, daughter Chicago and son Salm to their family in 2015, 2018 and 2019, respectively. After almost seven years of marriageKardashian filed for divorce from West in 2021.

Being a Hopeless Romantic

Kardashian opened up about her dating mindset on a May 2023 episode of the “On Purpose With Jay Shetty” podcast. “I think I will always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love to share my life with someone and love to create a life with someone,” Kardashian said.

Kardashian noted that she did not intend to rush into another relationship because of how it will affect her children.

“I will definitely take my time, and I think there are so many factors especially when you have children and being considerate of people that come into your life,” she said. “If I can look at everything I did wrong and try not to make the same mistakes and really take my time, I think it must be different for me. It’s obviously such a difficult place to be in because how do you go about it? There are so many factors, but I will always believe in love and I will always want that and I think that is such a magical part of life. But I think I’m so comfortable taking my time not rushing it.”

He added: “There’s so much going on that I’m not alone, and I think that’s very important. I believe, like, I always believe. And I think whatever is meant to be will be.”

Sneaking Around

Kardashian said Scott Disick during a June 2023 episode The Kardashians that she wanted to “sneak around a bit.”

Not ‘delusional’ to think someone will ‘check every single box’

Reflecting on her ideal partner, Kardashian shared during a February 2024 episode of SiriusXM’s “This Life of Mine With James Corden” podcast that it’s “not so delusional to know that someone will check all the boxes.”

“(I’m looking for someone who is) accountable for actions,” he said. “He takes responsibility, (has) good teeth, can hold their own teeth and I don’t have to guard (them) all the time. Only a good, genuine person is motivated and has his own motivations in life.”

When asked if her quest to find her partner could lead to marriage, she replied, “I don’t know. I’m not really.”

“There’ll be moods where I’m just like, ‘You know what? I understand that my life is very big and I understand that it takes a really, really, really special, unique person to want to deal with that,’” she said. “I think my life is really fun and whoever comes into my life will have a really good time, but it’s a lot. I’m not alone, so I’m good. I have my children, I have work, I have my family, but it would be nice to share your life with someone, but when you do, it’s so big… I don’t take that light.”
