Patrick Mahomes love that he gets to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs playoff game win and milestones with his family by his side.
“It’s been a special run, just with everyone here in Kansas City from the organization to the community, from the team and from my family,” Mahomes, 29, said in a Saturday, January 18, press conference. “I try to cherish that. I still remember moments from my dad’s World Series, (Patrick Sr.), playing when I was 5 years old. So, these are moments I will have with my family for the rest of my life.”
Patrick and his wife, Mahomes Brittanyare parents to daughter Sterling, 3, son Efydd, 2, and newborn daughter Golden, 1 week. (Brittany, 29, bring their eldest children to Saturday’s game.)
“It’s a growing family, but (I) hope we’re done growing for a while,” joked Patrick. “It’s cool that I can play in these big games and the Kansas City community has brought me into their family.”

Patrick, the Chiefs’ starting quarterback, led the Missouri football team to a victory Saturday over the Houston Texans. The Chiefs’ victory in the divisional playoffs confirmed their place in the AFC Championship later this month. Of course, the winner of the AFC title – the Chiefs will play either the Baltimore Ravens or the Buffalo Bills – will advance to the Super Bowl in February.

“We went back and forth (on the name) for a while,” Brittany say Today before delivery. “But the one we settled on, we really love.”
At the time, Blydaw also wondered about Sterling and Efydd’s reactions to their little sister.
“All (Bronze) says is ‘I want a sissy baby,’ and then he’ll ask to see my stomach,” Brittany recalled. “Although I’m not sure if it’s registered that a real human being is coming. And Sterling is totally obsessed. She loves playing with babies.”
Patrick’s relatives have also been delighted since Golden’s arrival.
“(My mother is) Grandi, that’s what she calls herself,” Patrick told reporters Saturday about his mother, Randi. “Our kids love her and she’s been a key part of my whole life taking me to those baseball games. … Those are the things you will remember forever. She’s here today, and I’m sure she’ll be ready to take care of those grandkids tonight.”
