Caitlin Clark an unexpected appearance alongside Taylor Swift at the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff game on Saturday had many fans excited, but some dreaded the sight.
The first appearance of Clarke and Swift in the same number since the pop star earlier sent an invitation to Clark a few months ago provided a welcome dose of fan service for some.

However, many fans have complained about Swift’s constant streams during Chiefs games since last season, when the pop star first started showing up to support Travis Kelce. But now with Clark, it’s a double whammy for some as well.
In her recent interview with Time magazine’s Sportsperson of the Year, Clarke said, “As a white person, there is privilege.”
The comment sparked a backlash against the WNBA phenom. And some fans in attendance Saturday expressed displeasure at Swift’s past endorsements of Kamala Harris and other Democrats.

Clark said she has been a lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan. She congratulated Swift after the pop star went public with her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in September 2023.
“Taylor Swift greets you with a good side,” Clark wrote on September 24, 2023. publish on X with the hashtag “Chiefs Kingdom”.
