Dear Gopmanformerly known by reality TV fans as Cher Hubsher, made a name for herself after appearing on the MTV series My Super Sweet 16 in 2007 – but she is only now speaking about her alleged experience on the show.
In a TikTok video shared on Saturday, January 18, the reality TV alum claimed she was never paid a single cent for her time on the show.
In the social media post, Gopman sings along with an audio that says, “Since we’re all going to die, there’s one more secret I feel I have to share with you.” She then posed with a picture of herself on the set and a caption that read, “Since TikTok is banned I’ll tell you how much money I made on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16.” She then sings “Zero” as “$0” flashes on the screen.
Gopman’s episode aired on January 15, 2007. Her appearance on the hit reality series helped pave the way for her to land a string of small acting parts on TV shows, including The Amityville Horror, Blind Mindsa Small Fish.
The show wasn’t Gopman’s only foray into reality TV, either. She and her mother, Dawn Hubsher, he joined the cast of motherhood in 2019 before the birth of her daughter the same year.

After working in healthcare for several years before becoming a life coach and social media personality, Gopman has amassed nearly 400,000 followers on TikTok, where most of her content is originally shared.
Gopman has been an outspoken supporter of the platform, which is set to go dark in the United States on Sunday, January 19, after the Supreme Court TKTKTK. Friday, January 17, hi video sharing featuring herself and her young daughter at the airport and the caption, “We’re moving to China since TikTok was banned.”
After a commenter pointed out that TikTok was also banned in China, Gopman shared a second video on Saturday that also featured her mother. “We’re leaving America because Tiktok is banned,” she wrote.
Gopman and her mother are the co-authors of the 2019 book A Bond That Lasts Forever. In an interview for the book, Gopman told Tinseltown Mom, “My mother and I have always been close. Of course we had our ups and downs like any mother and daughter relationship and we had our fair share of arguments during my teenage years, however it was how we got through the tough times that made us so much stronger.”
She also credited her mother for helping her find her voice as a young woman and instead often asked her opinion on various topics. “It made me realize that I had a voice and that she cared about it. She always wanted to spend quality time with me, which made me feel very special early on,” he explained.
