NBC News shed some light President Biden legacy and the somber mood that has gripped the White House in the president’s final days in an article Thursday.
Article contrasted Biden’s promise to “unite the country, strengthen his party and protect democracy” when he took office with what has actually played out during his presidency.
According to the report, Biden “leaves the nation divided, the party in tatters, and the American people questioning the institutionalist’s respect for the rule of law.”

This disconnect between Biden’s promise when he took office and his actions as president has led many Democrats to “accuse Biden of handing the White House to Donald Trump, criticizing the aging politician for staying in office too long and faltering after he pardoned his son,” NBC News said.

The article also claims that former Biden adviser Anita Dunn and former Biden lawyer Bob Bauer accused members of the Biden family of being “unceremoniously” cut out of the president’s inner circle.
“Dunn and Bauer were outraged that they were unceremoniously kicked out of the president’s inner circle, and blamed it, in particular, on two members of the Biden family — Hunter Biden and Jill Biden,” according to NBC News.
