Betrayers’ Jeremy Collins Questions Rob’s Boston Deportation Twist

After being murdered on The Traitors, Jeremy Collins weigh in on that shocking exile turn—and what it means to Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano move forward.

During an exclusive interview with Us WeeklyJeremy, 46, reacted to Boston Rob’s decision to deport fellow Traitor Bob the Drag Queen.

“I think Wes (Bergmann) sussed very quickly and now he passes that around. So I think Rob is skating on the ice again,” noted Jeremy. “Rob, you should have worked with me and this wouldn’t be happening now. Because I would be like, ‘He’s not a Traitor. He is good. Leave him alone.”

Jeremy suggested that Boston Rob “watch now” because he has “people coming for him”, adding, “Derrick (Lefaseur) in fact he would say to me, ‘Listen, I’m not a Traitor but one of the other two who came in is a Traitor—Wes or Boston Rob. He tells people so Rob is now in trouble. He must watch now.”

Survivor hasn’t done a Faithfuls vs. Traitors again, but this season of The Traitors could be an adequate substitute. Four players from the hit CBS reality show battle it out in season 3 of The Traitors, including three former winners and a recent fan favorite. Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano, Tony Vlachos, Jeremy (…)

The newest episode, which premiered on Thursday, January 17, began with murder evident when the Traitors – Bob the Drag Queen, Danielle Reyes, Carolyn Wiger and Boston Rob – wrote three names to be on the short list. Jeremy, Nikki Bella a Ciara Miller were the final choices, but that was the A survivor alum he didn’t.

“I forgive everyone. I’m a gamer so there’s no hard feelings on anything,” said Jeremy Us for being murdered in the fourth episode. “I like Carolyn crying though. I got her back. We got a really good seat and I was like, ‘Carolyn, you shouldn’t worry about anyone else. You are a beautiful soul. Don’t let anyone stop you from shining.’ I think it was a bad game because I had all three backs.”

Jeremy have one regret. After Jeremy, Nikki, 40, and Ciara, 28, were placed in coffins before the Traitors chose who to murder, they had the chance to plead their case. Jeremy surprised his fellow contestants when he said he would help the Traitors if he was kept around — despite his status as a Loyalist.

“It was a turn I was not prepared for. I didn’t think I was going to be there straight away. I go in and then I say, ‘Okay, one of these other two are Traitors.’ So I run that through my mind, and then (host Alan Cumming) telling us what’s going to happen,” he recalled. “There’s a lot of stuff going on. I said I’d help the Traitors if they’d save me.”

Jeremy continued: “As soon as I say it, I’m like, ‘Damn, I shouldn’t have said that. Now if they save me now I have to go fix it with 20 other people right now.’ There was a lot going on. Then as soon as I was out of the coffin, I thought how I should have said, ‘I don’t talk much, but I named one person, if I go tomorrow, that person is the Traitor.’”

Jeremy later realized that he should have kept to not talking too much at the start of the season.

“I do a lot of listening and watching. I wish I had done that a little more,” he said before sharing a story about how he changed his game plan. “That’s how we work at Survivor. We get alliances and I usually don’t do that in my survival game. We will approach each one individually and talk to them (but not in groups). I think I just talked too much, that’s all.”

But when it comes to Boston Rob, 48, Jeremy didn’t think it would had had any success even if he had tried a different approach, adding, “I played with Rob before that A survivor and I wanted to work with him on The Traitors. … But he never wanted to work with me, ever. So, coming into this, I was like, ‘Let’s work together.’ And that’s who he is. He doesn’t want to work with me. So he doesn’t play well and he doesn’t share his toys.”

Jeremy was still having a great time watching Boston Rob turn on Bob the Drag Queen, 38, even though the Traitors are on the same team.

“I thought it was great TV. If they had kept me – if Bob had kept me – I would have been on Bob’s side,” said Jeremy Us. “I would have fought for Bob. I just think I went too soon, and I think it was a bad decision. If I waited one more (challenge) and that happened, it would have opened up the game and I would have been off and running.”

New episodes of The Traitors will be released on Peacock Thursdays until March 6.
