The game show, based on A survivorbrings some of the biggest names in Barstool Sports under one roof to compete – this time – for $250,000. The latest season, which ended on Thursday, January 16, was full of firsts, from the number of employees competing (24) to where the competition took place (at Barstool’s Chicago office).
Host Jeff D. Lowe he said during premiere December 2024 that Barstool founder Dave Portnoy put together the large group of competitors.
“I have no idea what to expect, it’s an all-star cast,” said Portnoy, who was also in the competition. “I don’t think we’ll ever get this group of people back together in one room. I’m excited.”

“I love the cast, and I wanted to make it a worthwhile prize, where there might be some people who would be on the fence or not get to play like, ‘Yeah, I’ll play for this, ‘” Portnoy said during the first episode of season 4, detailing the higher award.
“Bussin’ With the Boys” hosts Taylor Lewan a Will Compton (who won Barstool has survived season 3 in 2024) were voted out during this season’s so-called “Pink Wedding”.
After they were eliminated, it was explained why Portnoy didn’t want either of them to take home the award.
“Right now, the ‘Bussin’ With the Boys’ group in discussion for a bag on the next contract,” Compton said during his confession earlier this month. “You have to think, if you’re Dave and Dan (“Big Cat” Katz)you can’t have the ‘Bussin With the Boys’ guys running wild, winning $250K.”
After they were eliminated from the show, Compton texted Ciuffo about backstabbing Portnoy and taking him out of the competition despite her alliance. She refused.
It is not yet confirmed whether their contract was renewed.
