TikTok CEO Shaw Choo is expected to attend President Trump’s inauguration and sit at the podium next to other technical managers including Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos, according to NBC News sources.
Participation is also expected Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Trump’s transition spokesman, told NBC News.
NBC News reached out to representatives for TikTok and Google for comment, but TikTok declined and Google did not immediately respond to a request.

President Joe Biden’s administration is also considering ways keep TikTok accessible in the U.S. when the planned ban takes effect Sunday, according to three people familiar with the discussions.
