Prince William Shares Pint With Football Fans After Kate Middleton’s Release

Prince William surprised football fans with a round of drinks during his first outing since his wife Princess Kate Middleton has announced that her cancer is in remission.

The Prince of Wales, 42, was photographed sitting at a table inside the Birmingham branch of Wetherspoons, a British pub chain, with Aston Villa football fans ahead of their team’s match against Everton on Wednesday, January 15.

William’s visit came after a nearby visit to the College of Paramedics conference. He was named the organization’s patron the same day.

William’s visit to the pub was pre-arranged by the football club after William asked to be put in touch with some of his biggest supporters, a Kensington Palace spokesman said. Us Weekly.

The spokesman also confirmed that the prince had paid for a round of drinks for the football fans who were present.

The royal was waiting for his train home when he stopped at the pub – which is inside Birmingham New Street train station – back The Sun‘s Royal Editor, Matt Wilkinson.
