The consequences of India and Pakistan’s crash Asia Cup 2025 He has taken an ugly turn after the former Captain of Pakistan, Mohammad Yousuf, referred to the Indian pattern Suryakumar Yadav with a derogatory derivation on live television.
Yousuf repeatedly called him “sweating kumar”, translating to the pig, as the post-Party-handed controversy began.
The comment, made during a television discussion, has caused a widespread outrage at Cricketing’s fraternity. Despite the anchoring attempt to stop him, Yousuf persisted with the insult, causing criticism of crossing the line of decency.
The controversy comes from the Meeting of Groups of the Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai on September 14, where India defeated Pakistan by seven doctors. After the victory, Suryakumar Yadav and his teammates refused to shake hands with Pakistani players, a symbolic gesture in solidarity with the victims of Pahalgam’s horror attack.
Suryakumar then devoted victory to Indian Armed Forces He devoted himself to Operation Sindoor, further emphasizing the political and emotional weight that surrounds the party.
Pakistan’s reaction was quick, with his visibly annoying players and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) filed an official complaint against the party’s referee Andy Pycroft, whom they accused of manipulating the situation.
The ex -India’s filler, Amit Mishra, condemned Yousuf the outbreak in uncertain terms. He named the “shameful” and “without education” statements, questioning as a cricketter of Yousuf’s stature could resort to this personal abuse.
“Despite being a trial cricketter, he made these observations. They talk about a nonsense. They do so for a long time. They complained about the party’s referee, but it was India’s decision not to shake hands. We should ignore those people.” Mishra said he told PTI, emphasizing that this behavior reflects more about Yousuf than in the Indian captain.
Mishra added that Team India’s behavior, playing the game, despite increasing tensions and choosing not to participate in symbolic gestures later, was a mark of respect for both the game and the victims of the horror attack honored by Suryakumar Yadav.
“I am with the Indian team and the whole nation is with the team. Pakistani players show their class. We have not seen Indian players making derogatory comments. They are not cricketers for me. This shows the difference between the cracks in two countries” Mishra signed.
Yousuf, meanwhile, sought to justify his comment later on social media, but faced an even greater reaction. Many accused him of diverting criticism by hiding behind the emotion, instead of recognizing the damage caused by his words.
“I didn’t mean to say any contempt for any athlete who plays in his country with passion and grace, but why the Indian media and people praised Irfan Pathan when he said that Shahid Khan Afridi was thrown like a dog? Shouldn’t it be rejected by everyone who speaks of dignity and respect?” Yousuf wrote to X.
