The International Cricket Council (ICC) is preparing to take strict disciplinary actions against Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for multiple rules violations during continuous Asia Cup 2025 In Dubai.
The breaches include delaying a scheduled party, unauthorized filming in restricted areas, and making misleading public statements about the coincidence referee Andy Pycroft.
The controversy began in front of Pakistan Group A against the United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates), where PCB allowed his media manager to film within the players’ and party officers (PMOA). The video, which showed Captain Salman Ali Agha, the team manager, sailed for Akram Cheema, the main coach Mike Hesson and the referee Andy Pycroft at a meeting, was circulated on social media. ICC regulations strictly prohibit any filming within the PMOA.
In addition, Pakistan delayed the start of the same game for almost an hour after instructing players who did not leave their hotel. The protest was derived from the ICC’s decision not to suspend Pycroft after the hander row Between India and Pakistan before the tournament.
Adding fuel to the controversy, PCB stated that Pycroft had issued a formal apology, a declaration later contradicted by CPI officials.
According to reports, the CEO of the ICC, Sanjog Gupta, sent a formal notice to the PCB, citing repeated breaches of conduct and interruption of the protocols of the tournament. Disciplinary procedures are underway, with possible sanctions that include heavy fines and additional measures.

The ICC emphasized that delays in schedules, breaches of the media protocol and the poor public representation of official issues will not be tolerated. Research is still in PCB statements, social media activity, and events that surround the delay of United Arab Emirates.
The sequence of events goes back to the heated group of the Pakistan group with India. During the launch, the Indian pattern Suryakumar Yadav abstained from shaking hands with Salman Ali Agha, in a gesture linked to the honor of the victims of Pahalgam’s terror attack. The PCB accused Pycroft of manipulating the situation and pushed for its withdrawal. However, the CPI reviewed the matter and erased the referee from any crime.
With the repeated breaches of protocol now register, the ICC Disciplinary Committee is expected to announce a strict action against Pakistan in the coming days. The developments have further touched the atmosphere of the tournament, which overshadowed the cricket in the field with controversy outside the field.
