Charlie KirkWidow, Erika Kirk (Née Frantzve), has been named new CEO and Chairman of the Turning Point USA Board after her husband’s death.
“In Ecclesiastes, King Solomon wrote that mankind is to be proven by God. Today we are facing such a test, and yet we also know that God prepared us with everything we need to overcome this suffering,” read a statement from the Institute’s Board on Thursday, September 18. “
The statement continued, “He worked tirelessly to ensure that Turning Point Usa was built to survive even the greatest test. And now, our great pride is to announce Erika Kirk as new CEO and Chair of the Board for Turning Point USA.”
Social media mail revealed alongside that announcement Erika was “unanimously elected” by the Board, noting that Charlie had “expressed” that these were his wishes “if his death were.” Charlie Turning Point USA registered alongside Bill Montgomery in 2012 as a not -for -profit organization advocating for Conservative politics in secondary schools and colleges.
Erika, 36, married Charlie in May 2021. They share two childrenA girl born in August 2022 and a son born in May 2024.
“We all have a special role in carrying a special role in carrying Charlie Kirk’s mantle and completing his vision of bringing us all closer to our Lord and nurturing a prosperous country for generations to come,” continued Thursday’s statement. “As Charlie always said, ‘we have a country to save.’ We will not give up or kneel before evil. ”
The Turning Point Board has unanimously elected Erika Kirk as CEO and the Board’s new Chairman.

The message concluded, “The attempt to destroy Charlie’s work will become an opportunity to make it more powerful and lasting than ever before.”

Tyler Robinson he turned himself in and it was Charlie’s death arrested. The 22 -year -old player was charged with a capital crime, murder aggravating and releasing a felony from a shotgun as well as several smaller counts, including preventing justice, interfering with witnesses and commissioning a violent crime in the presence of a child.
Robinson’s first court hearing was held on Tuesday, September 16, but the suspect did not enter into pleading. He will remain in Utah County Prison without bail. His next hearing is set for Monday, September 29.
