The head of the election commission, Malawi, warned political parties to announce the electoral victory, saying that they should expect official results.
Annabel Mtalimanja warning came after the parties to the two major presidential candidates, acting Lazar Chakver and his predecessor Peter Mutariki, said they won a survey on Tuesday.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Ms. Malimanjo said only the commission was instructed to release the results.
