Minnie Driver He has some questions about the latest plastic surgery trends.
“Guys, are we all getting new faces for Christmas?” asked the British actress, 54, recently Instagram video. “‘Cause where do you get them from? And do you think they’re going to run out? And does anyone have a discount code?”
The driver, looking casual-chic in a blue T-shirt, white pants and cat-eye glasses, poked fun at trendy aesthetic procedures that make people look like walking Instagram filters.
“Pretty hard to put under the tree,” she captioned her post, adding the cheeky hashtags #newface, #faceshop and #discountcodes.
Friends and fans of the driver flooded the comments section, adding their own jokes.
“I draw mine on with a marker,” one fan wrote, and he did Goodwill Hunting Seren replied, “This is an excellent idea and a budget one.”
Another assured, “You look amazing! No need for a new face!,” while another said, “Go and ask Demi Moore. Her surgeon is perfection.”
Meanwhile, Debra Messing let out a “Hahaha!!!” and a model Karen Elson he responded with: “Requesting a friend…😂.”
Driver has recently been candid about the aging process. Last month, she posted a pair of selfies without makeup to her Instagram account.
“Okay, I’m pretty vain, so posting (a) picture without a scrap of makeup and untouched, is rare,” she wrote in the caption. “The only reason I’m doing it now is because I’ve been sick, I’ve felt all of my years lately.”
At the time, Driver credited a friend and esthetician from London Karen Bartov for helping her share a more authentic picture of herself.
“I’m a little surprised that my friend Keren can make me look like this,” he continued. “The glow of Christmas without the 5 mulled wines. Love you Keren and thank you.”
Driver revealed in early November that she was battling the flu and was a credit partner Addison O’Dea with helping him get through it. She showed her appreciation in an Instagram post celebrated the couple’s six-year anniversary, writing, “All day he’s been sticking thermometers in my ear and setting timers for medicine and sticking his head around the door and writing me cards and make me food I can’t eat.”
O’Dea’s carer worked. Earlier this month, Driver was recovered and ready to attend the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, where she was a member of the jury alongside Spike Lee a Daniel Dae Kim. She posted snaps of her glamorous festival outfits via Instagram.
“I always love the pictures we take at home about a million times more than the red carpet ones,” she said. revealed on 11 Decemberadding, “on my way to the Women in Cinema dinner at @redseafilm where I’m thrilled to be on the jury this year.”
