Liam Neeson is fun to watch even in a bad movie

It is safe to say that Ice road: revenge will not get much attention during a reward season with his A score of 17 percent on rotten tomatoes. To be fair, the vast majority of Neeson’s action movies have had bad reviews. That has never stopped people flocking to see him kicking a barrel, and he does it again here. Neeson’s fighting scenes are more limited in this flic, likely because of his age. But there are some enjoyable driving action scenes where he is again behind the helm and faces danger.
The film tries to give Mike McCann (Neeson) some depth as he mourns on his brother, Gurity, and tried to honor his last wishes by spreading his ash in the Himalayas. There is even some unexpected humor when Mike is forced to transfer a gurity ash to a more TSA -friendly package. Neeson is the one that makes this film enjoyable, even if it is far from its best film in the genre.
Bingbing Fan Costar has some good action chops

Amber Middle Dogs Not returned for this sequence, but Neeson gets a new flagship woman to play away in form Fan bingbing‘s dhani yangchen. Perhaps the most surprising thing about the film is that Bingbing has to carry some of the action on her own, and she does a great job in the role.
He feels that Dhani has been added to this story to lighten the load on Neeson. Fortunately, Bingbing has engaged with his own charisma. This is not the first bingbing action flic, and she had a role in The 355which also streams on Netflix. It is already extremely popular in China, but this film feels that it could possibly open more doors for bingbing in America.

There are not many ice roads in Ice road: revengeBut there should be enough action to satisfy genre lovers. What is more interesting to me, however, is the way the film ends. The highlight of this story related to Mike does not send yet another villain or save innocent people. He already did that earlier in the film.
Instead, the story gives the emotional closure he needed to drop his grief and possibly devote any need to fight in the future. If Neeson winds his acting career in favor of comedies as The naked gunThen there may not be many action flicks like this in its future. The actor and character gets the finale they deserve here, and maybe that Ice road: revengeMost feature times.
