“The return of Tagenine Chanderpaul is to help transform our fortunes at the top of the order, given the recent struggles, with Alick Athanaze added by his forces and qualities against the bowling of spin. Khary is for the first time as a second spinner in what we expect to be useful conditions.”
In the meantime, Cricket director Miles Bascompe said that the workforce has been selected taking into account the opposition points. Said:
“ Our approach to the selection of the squad continues to calculate and deliberate. We consider the opposition, the conditions of play and the sets of skills necessary to succeed against the specific opposition. The inclusion of players has been guided not only for their recent actions, but also identifying who within our set is more appropriate for positive results on these surfaces, against this quality of the opposition. ”
