Travis Kelce grateful for his “very strong relationship” with his girlfriend Taylor Swift.
“I enjoy all aspects of life that are completely mysterious,” gushed Kelce, 35, during an appearance on Wednesday, January 15, The Stephen A. Smith Show. “I’m happy Taylor and I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and that comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium.”
Kelce and Swift, 35, have been together since the summer of 2023 after he attended one of Journey of Eras concerts in Kansas City armed with a DIY friendship bracelet that became synonymous with his shows. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end had hoped to give Swift the bracelet – which included his phone number – but was unable to meet the pop star. The three-time Super Bowl champion famously recalled the perceived rejection on his “New Heights” podcast later in July 2023.
After Swift heard Kelce’s plan while listening to the podcast episode, she reached out privately. The pair went public the following September when Swift attended her first Chiefs game.

Now, there is Swift a staple at Kelce’s football games. (Throughout the 2024-2025 season, he attended nearly every home game at KC’s Arrowhead Stadium.)
“I think, personally, the beauty of being in a really strong relationship is that you have that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you,” Kelce added on Wednesday. “That’s why I wanted to be at (her) concerts supporting her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and has support in everything she does in life.”
In between publicly sharing his support for Swift, Kelce claimed he remains “focused (as he always has been)” on the football field.
“I’m as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player I possibly can be week in and week out for this team,” he said. “It’s because I don’t have to worry about things off the pitch.”

Kelce and the Chiefs secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC and are prepare for the regional round of the playoffs on Saturday, January 18, for a chance to play in the conference championship and, hopefully, the Super Bowl.
