Written by Decline creator Julian Fellows. The gilded age Another ensemble play follows a rich family – but this one takes place in New York City in the 1880s. Fellows have suggested that some Decline Characters (younger versions are most likely from those we know) could even appear in the seasons of the future of this commendable play, which stars Nixon’s CynthiaCarrie Coon, Louisa Jacobson, Tissa Farmiga and more.
Lovely performances and production design make this show stand out, as do its story lines about race, mostly missing element Downton Abbey.

‘Jane Eyre’ (2011)

This adaptation of the literary classical stars Mia wasikowska as the eponymous orphan, which becomes governance in the rich and mysterious household of Mr Edward Rochester (Michael Fassbender).
Deal with some of the same themes of class difference and forbidden love, Jane Eyre occurs in an earlier historical period (the 1810s), but includes a stunning costume and melodrama design. Wasikowska’s portrayal of Jane’s quiet dignity is perfect over, making this film one of our favorite literary adaptations.

Keira Knightley Stars in this stunning period drama, also based on literary classic, about Russian social Anna Karenina and her boyfriend with the Dash Vronsky account (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). Directed by Joe Wrightwho also worked with Knightley on Pride and prejudice and Reconciliation. Anna Karenina A stunningly fertile film with a lovely set design that makes the whole film resemble a play.
The cast of the ensemble includes Jude’s law. Matthew Macfadyen and Downton Abbeyyourself Michelle dockery. They are all outstanding – but Anna feels like the role Knightley was born to play.
