Team India players went through a new field drill in Dubai ahead of their next match with Pakistan in the Asia Cup, continuing 2025. According to a Times of India report, Times Train D Dilip designed the unique field drill and the session was part of the team’s preparation for sharpness.
India, directed by Suryakumar Yadav, surpassed the Arab Emirates united at the opening of the Asia Cup 2025 in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, September 10. They went out to the house team for only 57 runs in 13.1 after winning the launch. Blue men pursued the target in just 4.3.
According to The Times of India, the Indian Cricket team tried the innovative field exercise. They set up a goal -size safety network away from the battles area. The players received the instruction of “defending” their goal by catching balls hitting them.

The new cricket balls were used for exercise due to additional speed. Each player turned through two sets of five catches. Hardik Pandya impressed during the drill, taking several spectacular catches.
After initially leaving a capture, then he took an impressive capture and saw himself hugging coach Dilip in celebration. Pandya took another shining capture as Shivam Dube looked from the margin.
“The main agar of the Maar Raha Hon Iska Matlab immersion, the main one who moves Nahi Kar Raha (if I’m diving, it means, I will not move and predict quickly),” Pandya left after losing a capture.
During the capture internship session, Vice-Capità Shubman Gill took a spectacular one-hand capture while searching for his left. He spread his left arm in the air and snatched the ball with sharp reflexes.
After Gill completed the stunning capture, his teammate Rinku Singh went up and gave him a maximum of five. Dilip also went to congratulate his remarkable effort.

India has faced Pakistan three times in the history of the Asia T20 Cup before the Asia Cup 2025. Both teams played for the first time against each other in 2016 in Bangladesh, where Pakistan launched for only 83 runs. Hardik Pandya took three doctors, while Virat Kohli guided the persecution.
The two sides gathered twice in the 2022 edition. India won a five -wicket victory in the group clash, with Pandya offering an excellent performance. He scored an unmatched 33 of 17 balls and also took three doctors.
However, Pakistan bounced back in the Super Four phase, defeating India by five doctors. Green men lost Sri Lanka to the Asia Cup final 2022.
