Why Jenna Bush Hager says her daughter Mila won’t co-host Today

Although it was an embarrassing moment for sure, it was hardly the first time Jenna shared that she wasn’t a huge fan of underwear. Kotb, 60, said first Today viewers that her co-host “never wears underwear” during a November 2022 broadcast.

“I was a bit surprised because Jenna and I know a lot about each other,” Kotb said at the time, noting that they had to share a dressing room that particular day. “I was a bit shocked by it!”

While viewers love Jenna Bush Hager for her candid comments on Today, sometimes her family isn’t keen on what stories she shares on air. “My husband, (Henry Hager), is always like, ‘What? Kotb noticed that Jenna was not wearing underwear when they had a minor costume change.

“I think it makes for a nicer silhouette,” Jenna responded. “I also think you don’t have to pack so much. It has many benefits! … (Hoda asked me), ‘Are you washing your clothes?’ And I said, ‘Yes, I do.’ But it’s not like I’m sharing your jeans with you either.”

Jenna also joked that Kotb “promised” the subject would not be brought up.

There are a lot of people here,” Jenna continued. “I’m sure my mother (Laura Bush) has never been prouder.”
