Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has completed a transfer of loans to the Turkish Trabzonspor side for the rest of the 2025-26 season.
The agreement, confirmed before the Friday transfer period in Turkey, is subject to international authorization. Onana still has to submit to the Premier League this term, with her only departure to the defeat of the Carabao Cup of the United States against the League Dos Grimsby.
“We want to wish Andre good luck,” the club said in a statement.
Onana, 29, joined Inter Milan in July 2023 by £ 47.2 million as a replacement of David de Gea and went on to make 102 appearances, including the final victory play of the Cup 2024.
However, his time at Old Trafford has been marked by expensive inconsistencies and errors.
With the Belgian goalkeeper, Senne Lammens, who comes from Royal Antwerp on the day of deadline in an agreement of 21 million euros (£ 18.1), the manager Ruben Amorim will now trust Lammens, Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton as options among places.
The United States returns to the Sunday action with a trip to the Manchester City rivals.
