Real Betis has confirmed that they are preparing to launch a fashion line inspired by the Coll d’Antony tattoo.
The Brazilian end sealed a permanent change of 22 million euros from Manchester United on deadline, committing its future with Betis until June 2030.
The word “Iluminado”, translated as “illuminated”, a tattoo that has a special meaning to him.
“This is one of my favorites,” Antony said about the tattoo. “Due to where I come and what I have happened, I feel lit, which is why I have this tattoo, which makes a lot of sense for me.”
Club officials revealed that the concept of the line arose during the contractual conversations in August. Antony, 25, accepted a reduced salary as part of his agreement, but will receive Royalties from the sales of goods related to the project.
“We launched a clothing line with Antony,” said Ramon Alarcon, CEO of Betis. “We are participating with him through Royalties and will also have some revenue out of sports with this merchandising.”
The fans had already adopted the symbol of “Iluminado” of Antony, with many showing it during the final of the Betis conference league against Chelsea last season.
Followers can now pre-order t-shirts with the design of € 24.95, while additional sweatshirts and articles are scheduled for publication before Christmas.
In the pitch, Antony has rejuvenated his career in Spain. After registering 12 goals in 96 appearances in United, he rediscovered his form on loan to Betis last season and then revealed that he had Rejected a lucrative approach to Bayern Munich to return permanently.
His arrival has also had a significant impact on the field. Since his move, Betis has won more than 205,000 new followers on his digital platforms.
Only in the first week of September, the club sold 1,100 t -shirts with its name and registered an 86% leap in commitment along with a 101.2% increase in video views.
