SA20 AUCTION SEASON 4: List of full players, details of teams and team slots

It SA20 auctionOn September 9, 2025, in Johannesburg, he promises one of the most competitive tender wars in the short but exciting history of the league. With 541 players in the auction pool and only 84 slots available in six franchises, the next draft will shape the plants for the 4th season of the T20 competition in the first season of South -Africa.

SA20: Template rules and auction format

The League has introduced updated regulations of the squad for season 4:

• Template size: 19 players, including a joker signature (not under the pay lid).
• Foreign quota: Maximum 7 per team.
• Local requirements: Minimum 11 South -African players.
• U23 rule: At least 2 cricketers under 23 per team.
• Right to match the card (RTM): Recently entered, allowing teams to re -sign previously published players, subject to withholding limits.

With these rules at stake, the franchises will have to balance the local depth and the global fire force.

SA20 Auction Season 4: Pre-sites and delays

Each team was allowed to retain or sign up to six players (three domestic maximums and three abroad) before the auction. Here is a look at notable movements:

Mi Cape City preserved George Linde, Ryan Ricelton and Corbin Bosch (South Africans), along with the stars of abroad Nicholas Polan, Rashid Khan and Trent Bulf. Its Comsa slot went to Kagiso Rabada, giving them a formid bowling of bowling.

Kavya Maran’s Cap Sunrisers made a daring call throwing his pattern twice, Aiden Markram, winner of the title. Instead, they retained Tristan Stubbs and Marco Jansen, as they won the signings abroad Jonny Bansionow and Adam Milne.
