Speculations even suggested that the two tied the knot in December 2024, fueled by the circulation of photos and videos. However, Ridhima has humorously rubbished these rumours, clarifying that she never got a chance to meet Shubman Gill.
“I don’t know what to say, man? How come this thing doesn’t go off? Maybe people like the idea of him and me together, but I’ve never met him and I wish him all the best. But samaj nai aaya bhai yeh uda kaha se and in December, the wedding was supposed to take place, aisa kuch hua nai hai.It’s December, but I’m sorry to break your heart, but not much is being prepared there because I don’t know the person.” Ridhima said in an interview shared by Viral Bayani. He further said that he is currently focusing on his career and has kept his distance from any associations.
A struggling Gill tries to regain his form with the bat
The top-order batsman had a terrible time with the Indian team during the recent tour to Australia for a 5-match Test series to defend the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Gill’s poor performance with the bat led to his drop from the Indian team for the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne. Gill returned to the team for the final game, but his form concerns continued.
With Champions Trophy 2025 around the corner, the Indian batsman needs to focus on regaining his momentum and start scoring runs for the Indian team to establish itself as a regular in the squad once again.
