As Alkaraz joined the ATP tour as a 16-year-old, he was excited about the variety of his game, having the opportunity to combine cutting low slices with ferocious steps and agile arrows to consistently catch opponents from custody and winning points of exciting ways.
But his ability to sew together such a quality around any surface is what already distinguishes it from anyone else.
Alcohol has now won two grand spots on each of the solid, grass and clay surfaces – only Rafael Nadal (when at the age of 24), Mats Willander (24 years old) and Novak Djokovic (aged 34), if they reached the same feat in the male game.
The speed at which the alkali is gaining majors is also striking – he only took 19 tournaments to win six slam, only for the record 18, set by Borg Borg in 1978.
Only Borg won six slam at a younger age than Alkhalya, winning three in Rolland Garos and three on the grass in Wimbledon.
There were also six at 22 (but he won the last one when he was a few months older than Alkara), and Pete Sampros was five and Four.
Like the eight-time Wimbledon Roger Federer (three) and 24-time Big Slam Jokovic (one) winner, at the rate of alkorus at their age.
