India’s former shooter revealed that he saw the signs of Pant’s fear very soon in his career, as Wicketkeeper-Batsman used to urge the fast diaper to dump him on the body line.
Bangar found this very brave practice and said that Ashish Nehra’s evaluation on the decrease in the pants to success turned out to be correct.
“He had heard ashish Nehra that Ris Habh is a very good player who will advance very quickly. He is a natural whisk. But he is also very fearless. I saw the first sign of his fear on the networks themselves.
“He used to tell the bowls that fell quickly and attacking his body. Very few batters had this mentality. He had just started playing the IPL at that time. So Nehra’s assessment was correct. After a long time, we found a goalkeeper who can beat the top-5,” Banga said on Via Doordarshan Sports.

Although Pant is currently recovering from his injury after marking 479 runs against England, he was not a safe selection in the Asia Cup squad in India, even if he was fit.
This is because their numbers in the T20 cricket have not been very good in recent years. In the IPL 2025, he was horrible and marked only 269 runs for LSG, with the best of 118* and with an average of 24.45 and a strike rate of 133.16.
Also, the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI), the main coach Ajit Agarkar, as he went to the press conference, stated that no player had lost the selection due to injury problems.
Ris Habbh Pant has been providing regular updates on his recovery through social media publications, but some reports have stated that Wicketkeeper-Batsman could stay out for a while and get lost in the house test series against the National Click team of West Indies.
