Emanuel Navarrete entered the ring to congratulate and have a clash with the champion Super Feather Pweatheight ibf, Eduardo ‘Sugar’ Nunez (29-1, 27 kos), after his unanimous 12-round decision for Christopher Díaz (30-6, 19 kos) on Saturday night at the Multiple use center, Los Mochis.

With Wbo Super Featherweight, a 30 -year -old Navarrete, who is granted access to the ring for a clash with Núñez, suggests that the promoter of the Matchroom Hall Eddie Hearn can be planning a unification struggle between them.
Navarrete (39-2-1, 32 kos) still has to deal with Charly Suarez in WBO-ordered resuscitation to erase the controversy of his struggle earlier this year on May 10. This struggle was stopped due to a left -eye cut of Navarrete, which was initially governed by being caused by an accidental clash on the sixth round. If Navarrete is victorious in resale with Suárez, a unification clash with “Sugar” Nunez would be ideal.
“Sugar” Nunez, 30, did not seem impressive Beating #14 Ibf Diaz on Saturday night. He absorbed many heavy shots of Diaz and appeared close to being eliminated on the 12th. The judges gave Núñez the victory for the wide scores of 117-109, 117-109 and 116-110. Although the struggle seemed closer than the scores that were delivered, Núñez seemed to have done enough to deserve the victory.
Núñez seemed vulnerable and showed little power compared to Diaz. It was difficult to believe that Núñez had such an impressive record, despite not being a great punch. Tonight’s struggle showed that “Sugar” Nunez is a large punch in the William Zepa mold, but not equipped with its size or power.
Hearn has to decide which is the best option for Núñez’s next struggle, as he looked very much baptized against Diaz. Starting in Nunez against Raymond Ford number 4 would be a mistake. Ford has too many skills and probably defeat him.
If Hearn wants Eduardo to attach to his IBF title as long as possible, he should forget -from Navarrete. It would be too difficult to fight for him.
Best options for Nunez
