Orlando bloom Honest about how his body improved after extreme slender for his role in The cut – and revealed whether he used weight loss drugs.
Bloom was asked, 48, by Craig Melvin During Friday’s chapter, September 5, from Today If he used Ozempic to lose weight for the film. Prompted the laughing question from Bloom, who denied using any weight loss drugs to aid its dramatic transformation.
“None of that,” he replied. “It was cardio, it was boxing, it was weight and then it was just a crazy diet, in fact, like, for the past three weeks, there’s only tuna and cucumber, that’s it.”
The film was shot by chronological order, giving audiences a complete look Transforming Bloom Body up close. He shouted out to the nutritionist who came in to manage his diet, exercise and overall health while working on the film.
“I had a great nutritionist … who helped me, because it’s definitely not something to try at home,” said Bloom. “It was a kind of science, really, because we had shot into chronological reversal (order). It was literally in connection with daily production to make sure we timed all the looks in the right way.”
Bloom also explained honestly why he did not advise people to follow his same thing Weight Loss Regimen.
“Although I would not recommend this type of weight loss extreme – especially without the close supervision of an excellent nutritionist – I must say that the human body is truly amazing,” the actor told A! News on Friday. “Despite the deprivation required to enter the shape you see in the film, my body restored relatively quickly, and I have returned to a much more sustainable health and fitness regime.”

“The mental challenges are arguably worse than the physical,” he said. “The lack of concentration, the mood mood, the sleep deprivation – they were not a joke. Thank goodness, once I went back to my normal diet and exercise, the psychological symptoms were diminishing.”
Bloom added, “If I did not believe before physical and mental health is completely involved. I certainly do now.”
The Caribbean -Star -Star was released on his weight loss previously last month during a chapter of This morning.
“I had a great nutritionist,” explained Bloom on August 27 when asked how he achieved the weight loss. “I was recommended by one of my agents who worked with Christian Bale on a few things, so he checked my blood and things.”
Bloom said, eventually, that he cut several foods out of his diet and started eating only one meal a day while filming.
“Basically, he put me down from three meals a day for two, to one,” he said of his nutritionist. “Suddenly, all these foods were removed from me, and my protein powder was the last one.”
Bloom continued, “Mentally, physically, I was hanging. I was a horrible person to be around. The paranoia, the intrusive thoughts. We are supposed to eat and sleep and care for ourselves. It’s actually a commentary on the lengths that a person is going to get that second shot. I think that is so transferable.”
