Matloc‘S. Skye P. Marshall have heard that Jason Ritter want to appear on Tracker – and she has ideas about how she would fit in Justin Hartley ‘S hit CBS show.
After winning innovative talent in the 7th TV Honors Annual African-American Film Critics Association, Marshall spoke to alone Weekly US for a ritter idea for and Matloc and Tracker crossing.
“Jason is coming to set now, and he crushes his eyes and tries to play a rough man. And we are like, ‘Can you stop please?’” He quoted. “And he’ll put his foot up on the chair and squeeze his eyes like James Dean. He makes my stomach crawl. I was like, ‘you’re not a rough man. Okay?’”
Marshall would still love to see Ritter, 45, Share the screen with Hartley48. “But I feel he would be the guy who is kidnapped,” he said. “Don’t give Jason Ritter a gun.”

During a separate interview with Us Last month, Ritter shared some ideas for his Julian’s second act after MatlocShocking Revelation – which may include crossing over to Tracker.
“If Tracker ever wants a partner (for Justin’s character, Colter), Julian may be leaving the company and he’s starting a new life,” Ritter shared. “Only two rough men.”
Ritter went on to install more possible Crossovers, saying, “Elsbeth is right there. Not only are we on the same night, it’s the law of the law. I think it would be so fun.”
He continued: “I love Carrie Preston so much and I think it’s great. I would love to see that Elsbeth Energy is on a chapter of Matlock – or some of us over in a chapter of Elsbeth,” he continued. “Sometimes they make two episodes of each show where they cross to each other. So that would be so much fun. That would be my dream.”
Marshall had a similar mind relating to Matloc and Elsbeth.
“I want to be associated with Wendell Pierce’s character on Elsbeth, as we’re both in New York,” he suggested to us. “They may need Jacobson and Moore to step in or Jacobson & Moore needs the cops to pull up. And can you imagine Carrie Preston with Kathy Bates? Elsbeth and Matlock?

Matlocwho first performed in September 2024, following a wealthy retired lawyer called Madeline Kingston (Kathy Bates), who pretends to be a bad widow named Matty Matlock to get a job in the legal company of Jacobson Moore. As it happens, Matty thinks someone in the company is part of the opioid epidemic that led to her daughter’s death.
Marshall’s performance as Olympia has won over fans and critics. It has also led to successes such as the innovative talent honor at the AAFCA.
“Honestly, I’m just very emotional,” he told us. “I’ve seen many women and men here who helped me along the way when no one knew my name and no one answered the calls. So to see them look at me and smile, I’ve been fighting back the tears.”
Matloc Returns to CBS on Sunday, October 12, at 8:30 pm ET before taking his regular slot on Thursday night on October 16. New episodes will stream the next day on Paramount+.
