The French press it’s a humble piece of coffee equipment. It doesn’t need electricity, but experts agree that it can prepare a richer, runnier cup of joe compared to its richest. seem technologically advanced. For example, the natural oils that would otherwise be filtered in a drip coffee maker remain completely intact, making the coffee aromatic and robust.
The French press method of making coffee is straightforward, cost-effective, easy to do, and difficult to mess up. Also, it doesn’t take up too much space on the counter. Once you have your measurements, it’s a quick process of steeping coarse coffee in near-boiling water. We tested these models with the James Hoffman French printing techniquein which he uses 30 grams of coffee to 500 grams of water, waits four minutes, and stirs through the crust.
